Supplementary Course to
Basic Course
This course can be added on to the Basic
Course, or taken as a separate Course 2,
before leaving for Japan.
In the Supplementary Course more emphasis is
placed on communication: greetings, polite
phrases, practical phrases, body language
and etiquette.
In the Supplementary Course the participants
will have more time to practice the
abovementioned important elements of
communication. An important part in the
course is the use of role playing,
incorporating body language when learning
the relevant phrases. In Japanese
communication it is vital that the body
language fits with the phrases that are
spoken. This can not be learned from
studying textbooks, but by means of simple
role playing the proper forms can be
assimilated quickly and easily.
